Oil filter bottom perforation problem

The perforation of the oil filter housing is due to the fact that the steel plate has sand holes, and the main reason is the steel material of the housing. Whether the bottom is easy to pierce and burst is related to the stretch forming of the shell. When the steel material is not good or there is a problem with the stretch forming, the bottom of the oil filter is easily corroded and perforated due to the precipitation of water, impurities, etc., the shell will be burst when the pressure is impacted, like a person's resistance Poor, a little cold will catch a cold. Steel material is the key, and the probability of perforating the bottom of a good quality oil filter is extremely low.

Oil leakage of seal ring

1. The material of the seal ring is poor, the high-low temperature resistance of the seal ring is poor, and the compression deformation rate is poor. After the oil filter is used for a period of time, the seal ring will have cracks or elastic decline, resulting in oil leakage or oil leakage at the seal ring.

2. The vertical deviation of the threaded die mouth is large, resulting in uneven sealing around (the inclination error limit of the left and right sides is 0.3 mm, which is unqualified). At the beginning of installation, due to the elasticity of the sealing ring, no oil leakage will occur. After the time, there will be some shrinkage. The side with the larger error shrinks due to the heat of the seal ring, the elasticity of the seal ring is reduced, and the sealing performance is greatly reduced, and oil leakage will begin to occur.

Oil leakage at the sealing edge

1. The lap rate of the sealing edge is low, and the size of the sealing plate and the shell do not match.

2. The bypass valve is malfunctioning or has a small throughput. The bypass valve throughput is not less than the rated flow at a pressure of 1-1.5 times the nominal opening pressure.

3. When using 8 kg models, there is basically no oil leakage at the sealing edge, but when using models above 10 kg, the probability of oil leakage at the sealing edge is relatively high. This phenomenon occurs mainly because the threaded plate is too thin or the structure of the threaded plate is unreasonable. When subjected to high pressure, the threaded plate is easily deformed, resulting in loose seals and oil leakage. At the same time, it is also closely related to the performance of the filter paper. When the quality of the filter paper is not good, the internal pressure of the oil filter is high, which increases the pressure of the threaded plate, resulting in loose oil leakage at the seal.

Filter paper is easily broken

The filter paper is easily broken. Many people say that when some of the built-in oil filters are opened, the filter paper is broken, but the filter paper has poor anti-carbonization ability. It is easy to carbonize after long-term impact with higher temperature and high pressure, and the filter paper is easily broken after carbonization. The external oil filter also faces this problem, but the external oil filter is because the filter paper is inside the shell, and everyone can't see whether the filter paper inside has been carbonized. The filter paper is easily broken after carbonization, and when broken, it causes oil filter clogging and wears out the engine.
