Air Compressor Maintenance Cleaning Process

As the use time of the screw air compressor increases, there will be grease, carbon deposits, sediments, rust, etc. inside the machine. If air compressors of different brand
lubricants are used, there will be asphalt-like black glue. Sediment can seriously affect the normal operation of the screw air compressor, and even lead to accidents. Therefore, it is recommended that during the use of the screw air compressor, we need to carry out regular cleaning, cleaning the machine head, paint bucket, radiator, tubing, and various valves to eliminate safety hazards and maintenance. The purpose of the internal air compressor.

First, the whole machine cleaning
1. Let the air compressor run for ten minutes to let the oil reach normal temperature.
2. Close the air compressor, wait for the internal pressure to leak, open the fuel cap, pour the air compressor cleaning agent, and tighten the fuel cap;
3. Open the air compressor for 30 minutes;
4. Release the old engine oil and add new oil.

Second, pour into the special compressor oil cleaning agent
The structure of the screw air compressor water vapor separator is similar to that of oil and gas tanks. The air inlet is designed to be walled and solidified into centrifugal force. Because of the weight of water and gas, it can effectively separate the moisture in compressed air.

Cleaning of the water-gas separator: Disassemble the water-gas separator cover and wash it with a cleaning agent.
  
Cooler cleaning is divided into air-cooled coolers and water-cooled coolers:
Air-cooled cooler:
Open the air hood to clean the cover, or remove the cooling fan; blowback the dirt with compressed air backflush, and then take the dirt out of the air hood; if it is dirty, spray some degreaser and blow. When the screw air compressor cannot be cleaned by the above method, the cooler needs to be removed, soaked, or sprayed with a cleaning solution and cleaned with a brush (no wire brush is strictly prohibited). Install the cover or cooling fan.
Water-cooled cooler:
Disassemble the cooling water into and out of the water pipe; inject the cleaning solution to soak or use the pump to circulate (the backflush effect is better); rinse with clean water; install the cooling water into and out of the water pipe;
  
Cleaning the intake valve
1. Remove the hose connecting the unloading valve and the air filter;
2. Remove all other components and the air pipe connected to the relief valve;
3. Remove the solenoid valve coil;
4. Remove the nut assembled from the unloading valve and the main unit and remove;
5. Move the unloading valve to the floor covered with clean paper or related clean floor;
6. Clean the removed parts with soap, water, diesel, clean gasoline, and Tianna water.
7. Reinstall the parts after cleaning.

Cleaning the minimum pressure valve
The structure of the minimum pressure valve is very simple. Unscrew the nut of the screw air compressor between the valve core and the valve body, and the inner component can be taken out. The minimum pressure valve spool of the small unit is built in the valve body, and the valve body cover is disassembled. All internal components can be removed for cleaning.

Cleaning oil return check valve
Clean the oil return check valve: clean the valve body, spring, steel ball, steel ball seat with the cleaning agent, and some filter valves inside the check valve, if any, clean together.
  
Cleaning the temperature control valve
The screw air compressor temperature control valve has a cover on the surface, and the cover has a screw hole. Find a suitable nut and screw it into the cover. Then use a circlip plier to remove the circlip that is fixed and then pull with the clamp. Just screw in the nut and you can take off the cover and all the parts inside. Clean all parts of the temperature control valve by cleaning the relief valve.

After all the above parts have been cleaned and dried, they will be installed in the air compressor. After all the components are installed in the air compressor, check the leaks and clean the tools and tools used in the installation.
  
The last step, correct all parameters
After the machine is cleaned and installed, the air compressor should be tested and the parameters during operation should be adjusted to ensure normal and safe operation after the air compressor is cleaned.
