Screw air compressor main engine overhaul project

The main engine of the air compressor is the core component of the air compressor, which is equivalent to the heart of the equipment. The main engine has been in high-speed operation for a long time. Since the components and bearings have their corresponding service life, the main engine must be operated after a certain period of time or years. Preventive overhaul, generally speaking, mainly needs to carry out overhaul work for the following "four major items" of the host:

1. Gap adjustment
1). The radial gap between the male and female rotors of the main engine is increased. The direct consequence is that the compressor's leakage (that is, back leakage) increases during the process of compressing the air compressor, and the volume of compressed air discharged from the machine becomes smaller. Reflected in the efficiency, the compression efficiency of the compressor is reduced.

2). The increase of the gap between the female and male rotors and the rear end cover and the bearing will mainly affect the sealing performance and compression efficiency of the compressor. At the same time, it will have a great impact on the service life of the female and male rotors. The casing is scratched or abraded.

3). The gap between the main engine screw, the screw section and the front and rear bearing seat end faces is too large, which leads to the direct result of noise, which is often referred to as the abnormal noise of the air compressor. If this happens and it is not handled in time, it is easy to cause the end face to stick, the end face of the bearing seat after loading the seat, and the end face of the front bearing seat of the unloading seat. As a result, the nose violently died, and the cost of repairs at that time would be much higher.

2. Wear treatment
As everyone knows, as long as the machine is running, there is abrasion. Under normal circumstances, because of lubricating oil (commonly known as: air compressor oil), the abrasion will be reduced a lot but long-term high-speed operation. The wear is slowly increasing. Screw air compressors generally use imported bearings, and their service life is also limited to about 30 000h. 3. Host cleanup
The internal components of the air compressor host have been in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment for a long time, coupled with high-speed operation, and there will be dust and impurities in the ambient air. These small solid substances will accumulate carbon with the lubricant after entering the machine. If the moon and tired form a larger solid block, it may cause the host to freeze.

4. Cost increase
Here cost refers to maintenance cost and electricity cost. Because the main engine of the air compressor has not been overhauled for a long time, the parts wear increased, and some worn impurities remain in the main engine cavity, which will shorten the life of the lubricating fluid. At the same time, due to impurities, the oil and gas separator core and the use of the oil filter period The time is greatly shortened, resulting in increased maintenance costs. In terms of power costs, due to increased friction and reduced compression efficiency, power costs will inevitably increase. In addition, the decrease in air volume and compressed air quality caused by the main engine of the air compressor will also cause an indirect increase in production costs.
