The intake valve is a component that controls the air pressure in the air storage tank. It can also be said to be an intake control combination valve. It has functions such as intake control, loading and unloading control, volume adjustment control, discharge, and prevention of unloading or fuel injection during shutdown. Its operation law can be summarized as: load when energized and unload when energized. The compressor intake valve generally has two mechanisms: a rotating disc and a reciprocating valve plate.

There are two control modes for the intake valve: one is the switch mode, when the pressure of the gas storage tank reaches the high limit set value, the intake port is closed; when the pressure drops to the low limit set value, the intake port is reopened. The other is the capacity adjustment method. When the gas storage tank reaches a certain pressure, the air inlet is slightly closed under the control of the proportional valve. When the pressure of the gas storage tank further increases, the air inlet is further reduced; when the pressure of the gas storage tank When it is slightly reduced, the air inlet will be enlarged to stabilize the pressure within a certain range; when the pressure does not reach the adjusted pressure, the air inlet valve disc is fully opened and the air inlet is fully opened.
 
The intake valve is generally a normally closed valve to prevent a large amount of gas from entering the machine head when the compressor is started, and increase the starting current of the motor. There is an intake bypass valve on the intake valve to prevent the formation of a high vacuum in the machine head when the machine is started and no-load, which affects the atomization of lubricating oil.

Common malfunctions:

(1) Do not load
The main reasons for the intake valve not being loaded are. The solenoid valve is energized at the end, the solenoid valve is damaged, impurity in the solenoid valve causes malfunction or the exhaust port is blocked: due to the deterioration of the lubricating oil, the friction between the piston seal of the intake valve and the cylinder increases and cannot be reset; the capacity adjustment valve controls the intake The air valve is closed. Remedy: Check the equipment circuit to ensure that the solenoid valve is normal: replace the solenoid valve coil or the entire solenoid valve body; disassemble the solenoid valve to remove internal impurities, remove oil stains in the intake valve, remove grease on the inner wall of the intake valve cylinder, and replace high-quality lubricating oil ; Adjust the capacity of the intake valve (module), non-professionals are not recommended to do it yourself.
 
(2) Do not uninstall
The main reasons why the intake valve is not unloaded are that the solenoid valve is not powered off and the solenoid valve is damaged; the small hole in the solenoid valve is blocked; the shutoff hole in the intake valve is blocked and the discharge speed is too fast. Remedy Check the circuit, restore the solenoid valve to normal, replace the solenoid valve coil or the entire solenoid valve body, disassemble the solenoid valve to remove internal impurities; disassemble the intake valve to remove impurities in the orifice; adjust the discharge speed, increase the diameter of the atmospheric pipe or Add an elbow.
 
(3) Inlet valve injection
The main reasons for the fuel injection of the intake valve are: poor oil and gas separator; blockage of the oil return check valve; poor air filter filtration effect, adhesion of impurities on the sealing surface of the intake valve valve and poor sealing; poor working environment of the compressor, and air intake The valve piston and the spring seat are worn out. Remedy: check the oil and gas separator and replace with a new oil separator core; remove the oil return check valve to remove impurities inside the check valve; check the air filter and replace it with a new one, clean the intake valve pipe; shorten it Maintenance cycle and recommend users to improve the compressor working environment.
