What should I do if the oil temperature of the air compressor is too high?

In the long-term operation of air compressor equipment, the high oil temperature of air compressor has always been a common problem, so how do we judge and solve it?

If the air compressor oil temperature is too high for a long time, the oil quality will deteriorate, so that the air compressor oil will not have the desired effect, will increase the wear of the equipment, and shorten the life of the equipment.

The main reasons for the high oil temperature of the air compressor are: the ambient temperature is too high (mainly in summer); the temperature of the circulating cooling water is high or the cooler is blocked; the outlet pressure is too high, and so on.

Solution:
1. When the oil temperature is higher than 50℃ or above for a long time and the circulating cooling water cannot reduce the oil temperature, a certain proportion of tap water should be passed into the circulating cooling water to reduce the temperature of the cooling water or the oil. If the tap water cannot lower the oil temperature, the tap water can be directly passed into the cooler system, but this time should not be too long, it should be between 1 and 6 days;
2. For the reason why the indoor environment temperature is higher in summer, we can ventilate the workshop as much as possible. If the temperature is too high, we can also regularly use cold water to flush the floor of the workshop to reduce the temperature;
3. The blockage of the oil cooler can also cause the oil temperature to rise, so when it is found that the oil cooler is blocked, it should be cleaned in time to ensure the cooling effect of the oil cooler and the normal operation of the equipment;
4. Reduce the water temperature of the cooling circulation system, increase the heat dissipation coefficient and effect.
