The jamming of the screw air compressor head is caused by several factors. Let's analyze the reasons first:

1. The first is insufficient lubricating oil
1). 2). Insufficient oil supply of the running machine, including the lack of oil replacement or addition, or the blockage or leakage of the oil circuit, which causes the machine head to be stuck due to lack of oil;
3). Too low oil level causes the bearing at the 2 end of the screw rotor to lose lubrication during operation, causing serious wear of the bearing and frictional jamming (locking) of the female and male screw.

2. Aging of air compressor bearings
The bearing of the air compressor has been severely worn under long-term operation. The specific detection of the degree of bearing wear can be done when the bearing is not removed, and the needle or ball on the lower side of the bearing can be moved. If it can be easily moved, it means that it needs to be replaced; Overhaul of the bearing of the air compressor head will inevitably produce wear as the running time passes, which will cause the axial movement and radial movement of the screw to increase. This change will cause the screw and the screw, the screw and the host casing to increase. And the gap between the front and rear ends changes. The gap change is normal and permissible during the life of the bearing, and the resulting attenuation of the air compressor gas output and the increase in the load of the transmission motor are also normal and permissible. However, when the bearing of the screw air compressor is worn out and the matching clearance of the main engine exceeds the allowable limit, serious consequences may occur.
 
For example, if a piece of iron filings with a thickness of 1 millimeter enters, it may become stuck. First of all, friction will occur between the screw inside the main engine and the front and rear ends, between the screw and the main engine housing, and the motor load increases sharply. The most serious consequence is that the screw locks and even the main engine head is caused by the frictional bonding between the screw end surface and the assembly end surface. Scrapped; if the motor protection response is not sensitive or fails, it may cause the motor to be overloaded and burned. Secondly, the large attenuation of air compressor gas production may affect the normal production of gas-consuming units.

3. Too many impurities inside the air compressor
There are too many impurities in the air compressor, including impurities in the oil, carbon deposits, and coking. Therefore, it is more important to choose air compressor oil to replace the lubricating oil; when using inferior lubricating oil or overdue use, it is more likely to cause the main engine head to jam.
