2. SIRC is a trademark of Ingersoll Rand. In 1987, Ingersoll Rand entered a joint venture between China and Shanghai Compressor Factory: Shanghai Ingersoll Rand Compressor Co., Ltd. was established and registered for use. At the time, SIRC owned the EP series.
3. IR is a trademark registered by Ingersoll Rand in the United States. Ingersoll Rand also has trademarks such as Club Car, Schlage, Thermo King, and Trane for use in other industries.

Second, the development history:
In 2005, Shanghai Ingersoll Rand Compressor Co., Ltd. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand in China.
Due to the expansion of the SIRC trademark, the V series (7.5-350KW), VPEX series (15-350KW), VSD series (15-350KW) and VT series (2.2-37KW) are newly launched, mainly targeting China and Southeast Asia.
IR trademarks include M series (7.5-350KW), R series (permanent magnet frequency conversion, secondary compression products 90-300KW), UP series (4-11KW), YS marine series, IRN series (oilless machine), C series (400~1000 centrifuges), mainly for special industries and global, mainly European and American markets.
Third, the production base:
At present, Ingersoll Rand's IR and SIRC are both produced in line at the Shanghai Ingersoll Rand Compressor Co., Ltd. Wujiang plant.

Fourth, the specific configuration:
The VPEX series (15-350KW) and the M series (7.5-350KW) are different:
1, the outer casing, the appearance is different (VPEX series has a more modern and technological sense, all corners are designed with a circular arc, more sturdy, beautiful, and safe; while the M series has been using the early design, the square corner of the cube is vertical);
2. Other components are adjusted for:
(1) The computer control version is different (for the Chinese market configuration), and another M-series has a built-in steam-water separator in the fuselage, but the VPEX series does not.
(2) The VPEX and V series are designed for the working environment in China. The air volume processing capacity is increased on the basis of the original, so that the air compressor can still operate perfectly under the working condition of 46 °C.
