The compressed air produced by the air compressor generally contains solid impurities and moisture, so the air compressor system needs to be equipped with post-processing equipment to treat the impurities in the compressed air before it can be supplied to the production equipment, so the air compressor is a A complete set of systems.

Compressed air treatment is to filter particulate impurities, oil and liquid impurities through filters, which is the process of preliminary treatment of compressed air. The bottom of the filter element of the ordinary filter is blocked, and the impurities are generally gathered inside the filter element. Pass through the filter element to the bottom of the filter, and then pass through the automatic drain to remove impurities. However, there are also certain problems in this treatment process. Solid impurities cannot be completely removed from the filter element and will stick to the inner wall of the filter element. This increases the running resistance of the compressed air, so that the moisture and oil will also be discharged with the compressed air.

Because it cannot be completely removed, we need to be equipped with post-processing equipment, a refrigerated dryer. The main purpose is to cool the compressed air compressor, so that the compressed air compressor with water is in a low temperature state, and part of the water is condensed into a liquid state, and then removed by an automatic drain. However, the refrigerated type also has certain limitations. The temperature of the refrigerant cannot be lower than 2 degrees Celsius, otherwise the phenomenon of freezing will occur and the pipeline will be blocked. To get a very low dew point, you can only increase the compressor power. This will increase the cost.

Therefore, if we want to go further, we need to use adsorption drying treatment, which is mainly absorbed by adsorbents, absorbs moisture under high pressure, and regenerates under low pressure. This cycle goes back and forth to obtain the dry air we want. Of course, nothing is perfect, and there will be some drawbacks. The filling of the adsorbent cannot be completely precise, which will easily lead to high energy consumption. In this case, it will be difficult to replace the adsorbent.
