What equipment does the air compressor system consist of?

For oil-free screw air compressors, the compressed air cannot be used directly. It is also necessary to establish an air compressor system with corresponding air compressor post-processing equipment. So, what are the common components of the air compressor system? What is the role of each equipment in the air compressor station?

Our common air compressor system is composed of the following four parts:

1. Screw air compressor: The screw air compressor is the most important equipment, the core of the air compressor system, and the machine that produces compressed air.
There are three types of screw air compressors commonly used in the market: variable frequency screw air compressors, low pressure screw air compressors and oil-free screw air compressors.

2. Air storage tank: The role of the air storage tank is very important. There are four main functions. It stores compressed air, meets sudden demand for air, and ensures stable air use; stabilizes air pressure and eliminates airflow; reduces the temperature of compressed air to achieve preliminary Cooling effect; separating the liquid moisture and oil in the compressed air to make the compressed air quality higher.

3. Dryer: Dryers mainly include refrigerated dryers and adsorption dryers. Its function is to separate the gaseous moisture in the compressed air, reduce the high-heat compressed air to the dew point temperature through the refrigerant compressor, and release it 99% moisture in compressed air.

4. Filter: We usually call it a compressed air filter. Its function is to filter out the moisture, dust and oil in the compressed air to the greatest extent. According to the degree of filtration, it can be divided into primary filtration and precision filtration.

Generally speaking, the air compressor system, air compressor station, and air compressor unit are composed of the above four parts. The design plan can be customized according to the actual production situation of the company, and the adsorption dryer can be installed.
