In the post-processing equipment of screw air compressors, there are mainly air tanks, dryers and filters. The dry compressed air can ensure the unimpeded operation of the air system and production process of the air compressor.

The function of the dryer is to eliminate the condensed water in the compressed air and ensure the discharge of dry and clean compressed air. After equipped with the relevant dryer, but the compressed air still contains water, this is because of these reasons.

1. The air humidity around the air compressor station is too high
The air itself has humidity and a certain amount of moisture. When the air is compressed, due to the high temperature inside the compressor, the moisture directly evaporates to form water vapor, which is then discharged from the compressor according to the pressure. When the compressor is stopped, the temperature drops, causing water vapor. Condensate is formed. Therefore, the humidity of the working environment of the air compressor should be low, or the condensed water should be drained before starting to use.

2. Failure of post-processing drying equipment
Generally, the post-drying capacity of a cold dryer is a pressure dew point of 3°C. If your working site temperature is lower than 3°C, there must be water. At this time, it is recommended to configure the post-treatment drying equipment with a micro-heat suction dryer, and the pressure dew point can reach -20°C without water in it.

3. The post-processing drying equipment equipped with the air compressor has insufficient capacity
Generally speaking, the post-drying treatment capacity configured by the manufacturer for users is configured according to the average air consumption. If your instantaneous air consumption is large, the capacity of the post-treatment drying equipment will be insufficient, resulting in water in the air.

4. The gas storage tank itself has the function of water accumulation
There was a lot of water in it and it was not discharged, so I forgot to drain it. Open the drain valve under the gas tank regularly to drain the water.
